Code of Ethics - Another reason for choosing RE / MAX

Whether you buy or sell a home, build a career in real estate or investing in your own franchise, knowing that the company you choose has a strict Code of Ethics should give you peace of mind.
The offices RE / MAX in Latin America and the Caribbean have signed a Code of Ethics which, among other things, includes the following items:
1. Affiliates RE / MAX should be kept informed of all relevant issues affecting real estate in your market, such as laws, rules and regulations.
2. Affiliates RE / MAX should receive regular training on technology, tools, skills and other topics related to their careers.
3. Affiliates RE / MAX should try to eliminate any practice in their communities that may damage the public or bring discredit to the real estate profession.
4. No Affiliate RE / MAX should never engage in any illegal practice.
5. No Affiliates RE / MAX deceive any buyer, seller or colleague.
6. Affiliates RE / MAX should always promote the interests of their clients.
7. Affiliates RE / MAX must maintain the confidentiality of information they receive.
8. Signs (signs) for the sale or rental of a property shall not be placed without ever consent of the owner of the property.
9. No Affiliate RE / MAX acquire any property for himself without informing the owner of what their true position. Nor will we sell any real estate property without properly informing the buyer what their true position.
10. Upon the closing of a transaction, Affiliates RE / MAX will continue to present offers to the seller and will do so as quickly as possible, in an objective and unbiased.
11. Affiliates RE / MAX must, within a reasonable period of time, communicate to colleagues the existence of an accepted offer.
12. Affiliates RE / MAX should not make any arrangements to accept payment of more than one party without informing the other party properly.
13. Affiliates RE / MAX should not exaggerate or conceal information relevant to the transaction.
14. Affiliates RE / MAX should try to avoid conflicts with other real estate professionals.
15. Negotiations on a property that is assigned exclusively to another estate agent should be made with the colleague, not the owner of the property.
16. No Affiliates RE / MAX should attempt to capture a property that is already assigned exclusively to another estate.
